So recently my fuel pump started whining and wonder if anyone else has had similar issues? If so how much is a new pump and how hard was it to install?

a new fuel pump will run about $250
it is a in tank pump so the tank will have to come down
it shouldn't be to bad to replace just make sure to get your gas level low
so the tank will be much lighter

2001 4.7L (BTW it's listed in my signature!)

I had figured this is what I had to do repeatedly on my thunderbird. What type of fuel pump was that you mentioned?
