Hey I am looking for places around here to wheel my jeep. I saw pics of trails near ferne cliff and I live in lake of egypt, according to the wood sign they cant be far.. can you give me a rd or directions to these or any other trails open to public

The best thing to do is go and talk to the Shawnee Forest Service at Murphysboro. They can get you the maps for the forest. There are trails all over but some are off limits to vehicles.

Thanks for the info I stopped by there got information on old forestry roads, but was told they are closed right now... If you have a trail ride coming up let me know, would love to go.

I see a bunch of views dont be afraid to jump in and let me know even a mild to moderate trail through the woods would be cool.

The trails are closed until after turkey season. Hopefully it will dry up some otherwise a lot of the trails will be a mess. I am ready to get in the woods its been too long since we have been out.Just keep checking in we will try to post something up!

i have a stock jeep that i want to modify some day, but for now if their are any easier trails you go to i woudnt mind joining along. i will keep watching the boards.
